Abstract:Abstracts: At present the maximization of LNG plant is that of the most obvious sign for natural gas liquefaction. Meantime technical development of the middle-small LNG plant has made remarkable achievements also. Natural gas liquefaction is that of one kind of high energy consuming industry. Equipment investment accounts for a large ratio in grossinvestment and exergy utilization rate can not be over 40%. Therefore exergy analysis should be used in feasibility study or FEED to improve thermodynamic efficient of refrigeration cycle and to reduce energy consumption and equipment size as well. In addition, since exergy analysis is the only way for developing new flow sheet with independent intellectual property, more attention should be paid by relevant departments,
